Housefull Furniture – Beware of this Frauds

Housefull International Ltd, popularly known as Housefull Furnitures is one of the worst places to buy furniture and are absolute liars and frauds – and I am writing this with my first hand experience.

I bought a bed and a mattress from Housefull Furniture store in Kukkatpally, Hyderabad on 18th February and they promised to deliver the product on 28th of Feb. Before placing the order the salesman also checked his stock and confirmed that the item is in stock and they can deliver within 10 days. They took the full payment of Rs.21699. TILL DATE (17th March) WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ITEMS.

Now, there’s more to it. Housefull Furniture not only did fail to deliver the goods – they didn’t care to inform about the same. I kept calling them repeatedly and every time they would say, it was delayed because it was not in stock but will be delivered soon. Finally they ( the Housefull Furniture warehouse in Hyderabad) gave me a delivery date of 9th March- which again they failed without any information. I called again and they said they are going to deliver on 11th March – on 11th March morning I called and they said it will be delivered by 3.00 pm and still nothing was delivered.

At this point I decided I have had enough and now I have asked my advocate to send them a legal notice. I started talking about this today (17th March ) in the social media and this afternoon, Sandeep from Housefull Furniture Kukkatpally store called me to say, that I need to go to their shop again ( 15 KM drive from my home one way) and chose a replacement furniture which they will deliver within 5 days and as a compensation for all these harassment they are going to include me in their current offer of giving a Diamond pendant with the purchase.

Diamond pendant?? Really ? now check out this forum discussion and see what sort of scam star this Housefull Furniture International is : Housefull International Scam – they are giving Rs.300 worth of imitation jewelry and claiming those to be diamond worth Rs.8000.

I asked Sandeep from Housefull Furniture to send me an email with his detailed offer – the first email he sent mentioned they will deliver the furniture in 7 days ( instead of 5 days – as he mentioned on phone). When I told him so, he mentioned it was someone else who wrote the email for him and he will send me a revised email. He did send a revised email but there again he diplomatically avoided mentioning the 5 days clause. Given below is a copy of the mail from Sandeep – Housefull International.

As per our discussion please visit to our kukatpally store and select other model which will be delivered to you. Our vehicle is starting from mumbai on tuesday and it will reach Hyderbad on friday. We will deliver the same on saturday. We bill under the free diamond jeweler offer and you will be eligible for free diamond jeweler. Subject to availability of stocks which will be selected by you.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Tomorrow I will be going to their store for one last time to see what they are willing to do to sort this out but am not much hopeful. Houseful International Ltd is not just cheating customers in India, but they are cheating people all across the country, wherever they have a store. I have been in touch with Housefull Furniture customers from Mumbai and Bangalore and they are all equally cheated. Its time we mobilize the social media and take legal action to teach a lesson to this fraud company.

PLEASE DO SHARE THIS POST SO OTHER UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE WONT FALL PREY TO THE SCAM OF HOUSEFULL FURNITURE

    they are saying that cash back is not in their policy…it seems that their policy is to cheat customers like us..and i wonder how they are expecting us to select someother furniture instead of returning our hard earned money..

    I’ve also had the same experience as Saptarshi has had. Only, mine is a wee bit better in degree. It’s been over 3 weeks since I ordered furniture with House Full International. As it was part of an exchange offer, they took away my old cupboard just 3 days after I placed my order. That was March 4, 2012. My new furniture has not been fixed yet. Besides, I had ordered for a bean bag among other things. The one on display in the showroom was good-looking but what came home was a dirty piece of COTTON cloth, into which was folded some thermocol-like thing. We asked them to take it back right away and give us a refund. Now, they refuse to refund that money because they say we are the ones who rejected the product. Please do not purchase anything from them. Look up reviews on the Internet, if you don’t believe us – you’ll find your answers there.

    Housefull Furniture. Do they have a shop in Delhi? I was really horrified with your experience. The shopkeepers in India seem to test our endurance. This is not the first incident of its kind in India. I have seen worse. This case is a pure case of fraud and legal action should be taken against them. I have seen many shops like that in Delhi. They promise something and deliver something else. This is an Indian mentality of looting customers. Don’t wait for them to deliver. They never will. Just take action.

    The stores just suck. Every time they promise to deliver it never happens. And its not only in Hyderabad, its all over. I faced the same problem in Mumbai. They are nothing but a bunch of cheaters. Never buy from them if u need peace of mind.

    Hhhmmmm… somehow I was skeptical about this so just wanted to look at the reviews. Infact I was prepared to buy some furniture as I see a huge discount and the offer seems to be tempting. But now with all these reviews I guess I need to drop my idea of purchasing the furniture from this store. Thank you guys…and any idea where can I some good furniture at a decent price, not hi-fi stuff.

    In spite of all the efforts still the problem not resolved.

    I wanted my total paid amount with interest and compensation for mental trauma given by you all.

    I will be sending this mail copy to Consumer forum Hyderabad cell to take this as compliant against houseful.

    We have been cheated by fraud company called houseful. HDC No. 1016/2013/2199 Our item ASPEN 3D KICHEN CABIENT VTF 93BR SKU NO 100009554 was commited for delivery on September 7, 2013. After fifty telephone calls, it got delivered on 19-9-2013 in two old torn card board boxes torn in many places and taped with transparent cellophane tape. After getting the delivery note signed for these two undated torn cardboard boxes the delivery fellow left. After ten minutes he comes back with a brown paper covered glass sheet with out any proper packing. Next day on 20-9-2013, two carpenters by name Dinesh and Dileep came for assembling the kitchen cabinet. They unpacked the boxes and told us that they cannot assemble this is a damaged pieced with the bottom main plank broken. They also told that they are not sure whether all parts of the cabinet is there is the box as the packing was loose and not in the original package. We made the carpenters call the warehouse manager Mr. Ismail who registered the complaint no. cc/2013/9/2195 dated 20-9-2013. From 20th to till date we were trying to get in touch with the Bangalore, Bannergatta shop manager a charector called Manjunath who never never take his mobile no.9743786350 and so also the salesman Sitaram mobile number 8971405404 who pushed a non available product on us. The height of the Houseful ftraud is that today at 5 pm I get a SMS informing that our unit has been sucessfully assembled when a pile of damaged goods from Houseful is lying in my front room.

    Your 9 days of delay for resolving this is not acceptable. You can sent a complete replacement within three days, which was the time taken for the initial supply from Bombay to Bangalore. If this cannot be done, refund my money immediately and take this garbage from here. PS Dismiss your manager Manjunath from your Bannergatta shop. I have to think in terms of court remedy in this matter.

    even had a bad experience with the housefull. actually i bought a queen siize bed called flash bed. the delivery was on time, but bed was broken on the forth day just by sitting on it and when i complained they sent the carpenter and said the’ll change it but it will be charged. when i said i won’t pay a penny for it and insisted on changing for free. i had no respond from then.i went to the store called them many times. but no use.my HDC NO. is 1015\2013\3297 and the product was delivered on 20\12\2013

    nEVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM housefull,, they are cheaters, # planks were broken within warranty period and only only 2 was replaced, though the company is saying they have replaced it, we have never got one.

    Another horrified experience I have from Kothapet. Item delivered was delivered past due the EDD, it is damaged and I am waiting for this to get replaced.
    Can anyone suggest that what consumer forum can do in this regard?
    Why consumer forum do not intervene to ensure quality service and product?

    had booked products as per your price list on 29th March 2015 vide order no 67444.

    An advance for the same was paid vide cheque no 070983drawn on HDFC Bank Ltd for Rs, 9380/- was paid by me on the 30th March 2015, confirming the order, and I was informed by your esteeem representative that the Goods would be delivered latest by 13th April.

    Since there was no communication from your side all the days, I called up your Helpline number on 13th April with an answer that they would be arranging for a call back which has not happened till date,

    On 14th when I again called I was told that I would be getting a refund of the advance.On asking for the reason, your representative was unaware about it.
    I made a call again on the same day and was told that the Prices had increased, hence you were unable to process the order and my refund is under process.
    On 15th April, I had a chat with your online representative, where I was informed that I would be getting my refund in Seven days. When I asked them. that from when does your seven days start, the person just vanished away.
    Again on 18th I called up and insisted on an immediate refund and was given false hopes of getting the refund in 4 days.
    On 20th your representative….now someone reacts from your side only to make me a fool, calls me to confirm about the refund, since you had again revised the prices and the Goods were available on the price I had booked for. Since I had enough of HouseFull and their false promises I opted not to fall a prey again in your false sales gimmicks and asked for an immediate refund. This representative again gave me a promise of refund in 4 days.
    Yesterday, on not getting my refund I again have been given a promise of 4 days.
    Can you tell me that when will your 4 days end. Is this a way of using my money since 2nd April 2015 (The amount got debited to my account) .

    There is on single HONEST PROMISE made from your end. How do you calculate these 7 days from 14th April and 4 days from 18th , 20th and now 24th.

    What kind of Business ethics is this?

    I demand an immediate refund of the advance given by me, failing which my lawyers would be approaching you, and I am not hesitatiing in filing a complaint in Consumer Court against you.

    Biggest Fraud Company Housefull International Ltd. Housefull International Ltd is a big scam company with rude/ill mannered staff. Firstly they sent me an entirely damaged product and now they neither reply to my emails nor do they attend my calls. They blocked my mobile number also so that I cannot even complain them because they do not like to hear or respond to any issues. Housefull International Ltd is a company full of bastards.
