Search Engine Optimization is an expression used to describe the process/technique of preparing a webpage/website to enhance its chances of being positioned on the top of the Search Engine Results Pages for a partiucular search query or keyword. The SEO process is undertaken based on the study of various factors and algorithms the different Search Engines employ in order to rank the pages for the query terms.
